Neon Cluster Wins Review
Stakelogic has been very active in new releases lately, and Neon Cluster Wins is a nice example of that. This process started when a Dutch investor took over Stakelogic from Novomatic, after which there was a change in the range of games. Stakelogic nowadays mainly develops games about old slot machines and also makes some new creations. Neon Cluster Wins combines, as the name suggests, the cluster wins mechanism with the ‘Buy a Bonus’ feature. Read everything you want to know about this game below.
RTP en Variance
The RTP, or return to player, for this game is 95.77%. This means that the casino returns this percentage of all bets back to the players. The volatility or variance is medium. A medium volatility means that the game scores average in terms of frequency and amount of winning amounts.
Let’s start with the playing field, which consists of 6 reels and 5 rows. On the top left you will find the title of the game, and on the other side you will see the Buy a Bonus feature. All other options are at the bottom of the screen. From left to right you see: Settings, cluster win, total bet, balance, autoplay, max bet function, and the ‘spin’ button. Furthermore, the background consists of purple neon lighting, which somewhat lives up to the name of the game.
How does Neon Cluster Wins work?
The game works with so-called clusters, which works slightly different from the known paylines. Clusters are formed with symbols that connect next to, above or below each other, and they must consist of at least 10 symbols. So you have 6 rolls of 5 rows, and thus 30 ‘squares’ to complete the clusters. So every turn is hoping for nice clusters or achieving the bonus round!
How do you play Neon Cluster Wins?
Determining your bet is, as usual, the first step to take. You can choose from a number of options, of which the minimum value is 0.10 euros and the maximum is 50 euros. So it is certainly possible to play with big money at Neon Cluster Wins. After this you can choose to let the autoplay function do its job, or to use the spin button every turn. Then you have no real influence on the results, and you hope for nice clusters.
The Symbols / The Prices
The symbols are actually very simple as they correspond to those of the classic slot machines. Clusters can be formed from 10 symbols, and the main prize is taken from a cluster of at least 30 symbols. Below are the payouts per symbol:
- cherries, lemons, oranges and plums: 20 to 5000 credits.
- melons and golden Bells of Fortune: 30 to 7500 credits.
- red 7 symbols: 40 to 10000 credits.
- BAR symbols: 80 to 15000 credits.
The wild symbol is the blue star, and unfortunately you cannot form a cluster with only wild symbols. Of course this symbol will help you form clusters of other symbols! Furthermore, a Joker pops up occasionally, and he is able to upgrade clusters.
In the bonus round, the playing field is expanded to 6 rolls of 7 rows, or 2 extra rows! 6×7 gives us 42 boxes to form clusters with, and therefore a greater chance of winning the main prize! Since you already take this first prize from 30 symbols, the chance is considerably higher. You must spin at least 3 bonus symbols to unlock this round, and you will receive 8 free spins for this. During the bonus round it is also possible to spin bonus symbols, which will give you 2 extra spins!
Buy a bonus feature
This feature is popular nowadays, and in this game combined with the cluster win mechanism. It will cost you 60x your bet to be able to play the bonus round immediately, but then you have a chance to win the big prizes! Keep in mind that the payouts are adjusted as if you were playing with a normal bet, so it is not obvious that you will make a profit.
Max win & Rating
The maximum win is set at € 162,500 and the game scores 3/5 stars!
The average score is mainly due to the relatively low payout percentage of 95.77%. In all other areas, the game certainly scores well, and has brought together some nice features.
